COVID-19

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and constant updates to provincial health orders, Gateway Theatre reserves the right to make seating adjustments. If there is a price difference between the seat you booked for and the seat you have been moved into, the lower price will apply and you may be issued a partial refund.

All attendees of in person events are required to follow all COVID safety procedures as communicated by Gateway Theatre.

Admittance – Children

While many of our offerings are appropriate for children, some of our shows and events are geared towards adults. Please contact the Box Office and we can help you decide if a show is suitable for your child.

Please Note: All children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Please use discretion when choosing whether to bring children to a performance or event. Children must be able to sit quietly throughout the performance or event to ensure they are not disruptive to performers or other patrons. Patrons with preschool aged children may be re-seated near an exit at the Front of House Supervisor’s discretion, and be directed by an usher to leave the venue at any time.

Each attendee, regardless of age, must have a valid ticket to enter a show or event.

Admittance – Latecomers

At the discretion of the Front of House Supervisor, patrons who arrive late for shows and events may be seated near venue entrances during a break in the show or event so they do not interfere with the performance onstage or disturb other patrons.

Refund & Exchange Policy

Tickets for in person events may be refunded if you are unable to attend due to illness, provided you have contacted the Box Office no less than two hours prior to your performance or event.

Exchanges are subject to the following conditions:

  • Subject to availability, tickets may be exchanged for a different performance within the run of the same show or event.
  • Requests for ticket exchanges will be accepted up to 24 hours prior to the date of the show or event you have tickets for.

The difference in the ticket price will be charged when upgrading your tickets to a more expensive date, time, or seat.

Requests for ticket exchanges into a different show or event will be facilitated at the discretion of the Box Office Supervisor and are dependent on the nature of the event or show in question. In the event that an exchange into a different show or event is granted, a ticket exchange fee of $3.00 per ticket will apply.

If you are already in possession of your tickets, you must present the original tickets at the Box Office to claim your new tickets.

Ticket Promo Codes & Offers

One code per transaction regardless of the number of tickets purchased. Each code is valid for one-time use only. Any cost above the amount stated in the offer is the consumer’s responsibility. No cash or credit is given on transactions where the total value is less than the offer amount. Offers cannot be transferred or combined with any other promotion, coupon, voucher, or special discount offer. Offers are not valid for Zone 3 or youth tickets, unless specifically specified.

Lost Tickets

In some cases, lost tickets to a reserved seating performance or event may be reissued. Lost tickets to a general admission performance or event may not be reissued.

In the event that you have lost your tickets, please contact the Box Office before the date of your performance or event.

Order Fees & Mailing Fees

All purchases attract a ticketing fee of $2.00 per ticket. Some exceptions may apply.

If requested, tickets can be sent via mail. A $1.50 mailing fee will apply and delivery may take 7 to 10 business days. No tickets will be mailed for performances or events within 14 days of the purchase date.

Gateway Theatre does not assume responsibility for tickets lost or stolen in the mail.
