"I have been amazed to see how much she has developed her confidence and found her voice" — Parent of Acting Student

Acting Camps (In Person)

Two kids smile in acting class.

Ages 8-13 | A fun on-your-feet physical class, these camps give students a variety of drama skills. From vocal and movement exploration to character-based improv, story-creation to script work, students learn to work together as a group towards a shared goal.

Musical Theatre Camps (In Person)

Academy students singing with their arms stretched wide.

Ages 8-13 | In a fun and supportive environment, these camps combine dancing, singing, acting, with storytelling. Students build confidence as performers and show their skills as they progress towards a shared goal.

Sensory Friendly Acting Camps (Online)

Young girl smiles and waves at her computer screen as she sits in her room.

Ages 9-16 | This online camp will provide a safe space for neurodiverse youth and children to work collaboratively, find a sense of belonging in an ensemble, and develop interpersonal skills. Learning in the comfort of their own home, students will be exploring how to use their bodies and voices to create characters and tell stories.

Health and Safety
The health and safety of our students is of the utmost importance. To maintain a safe learning environment, we are reducing our in-person camp size to a maximum of twelve students, increasing our cleaning frequency, and practicing physical distancing during class. We will also be asking our students to aid us in creating a safe and comfortable learning environment. Find a quick summary of our health and safety measures here, or explore our detailed health and safety procedures.

Financial Support
Gateway Academy believes in providing access to theatre arts training, regardless of financial means. If your family is experiencing temporary financial hardship, please apply to our bursary program generously supported by Wynford Strata Management.
