Sensory Friendly Acting Classes | Theatre Education for Children and Youth
Sensory Friendly Acting
兒童秋冬季戲劇課程 • 儿童秋冬季戏剧课程
Allow your child to open their imaginations and explore how to use their bodies and voices to create characters and tell stories.
We are excited to offer sensory friendly acting classes to empower neurodivergent youth including but not limited to youths with Autism, Asperger syndrome, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and other sensory processing and developmental divergence. These classes are intended to be online so students can learn and express themselves in the comfort of their own home, potentially reducing stimuli. In this class, students will work collaboratively, find a sense of belonging in an ensemble, develop social and communication skills, and build confidence in their own abilities.
All abilities are welcomed and no previous experience is required! Our experienced instructors will provide a safe, inclusive space and adapt to each student to ensure they are able to grow and learn from where they are. If you would like to learn more about the class, please contact Ruth McIntosh, Education Manager at 604-247-4975 or email@example.com.
