Join us on GivingTuesday, a global day of generosity, by supporting Gateway Theatre’s Accessibility Initiatives. Your gift helps ensure that everyone can experience the joy of live theatre.
Gateway Theatre is committed to building an inclusive and welcoming space for all. Each season, we invest in key accessibility programs that remove barriers and broaden access for diverse audiences. For example, this includes:
- – $3,000 invested annually in VocalEye Live Audio Description for patrons with visual loss
- – Over $5,000 to provide 100+ Community Access tickets for individuals facing barriers
- – $8,000 to offer surtitles, helping us to connect with multilingual audiences and break down language barriers
Here’s how your contributions to Gateway Theatre’s Accessibility Initiatives make a difference:
$50 Gift
Provides a Community Access Ticket for individuals facing financial barriers, ensuring they can experience live theatre.
$100 Gift
Helps support our VocalEye Live Audio Description. This program allows patrons with vision loss to fully enjoy a MainStage performance.
As we are a not-for-profit registered charity, any donation over $10 is tax-deductible, and you will receive a tax receipt. When you gift over $25, you also become a valued member of the Richmond Gateway Theatre Society and have a vote at the AGM. (View Constitution and Bylaws).
